Read, interpret, and translate client/contract specifications into physical design packages for construction. Perform engineering analyses and calculations to support physical substation designs on multiple concurrent substation projects while providing support to and mentoring other substation physical engineers.

Read, interpret and translate client/contract specifications into electrical and protection design schemes and scheduling parameters. Perform power system analysis and calculations to support substation and electrical design, development of relay protection schemes and selection of substation major equipment and materials. 

Responsible for one or more concurrent transmission engineering projects. The Project Engineer will be responsible for providing engineering design and construction support for assigned tasks; interfacing with clients and other outside entities on technical issues; providing technical support to other staff including designers, engineers and project managers; and assisting in developing engineering standards.
